Reggae vibes to close out the evening, warm summer air, and a night brimming with positive energy – the final open - air night of the Z7 Summer Nights once again showed its warm side. Pure reggae was on the agenda, and the atmosphere was perfect: relaxed faces, plenty of movement, cold drinks, and that typical lightness you simply feel at a reggae night .

Uncle Frank opened the evening with a blend of soulful reggae rhythms , funky grooves, and a warm stage presence that instantly captivated the audience.

Frank Benbini and Naim Cortazzi played their set with practiced ease and infectious enthusiasm. It was clear that the two have been making music together for decades: everything sounded polished, relaxed, and yet powerful.
The dub reggae versions of their songs worked brilliantly in the summer heat; all that was missing was the beach, the sea , and a cocktail in hand.

The sound was warm, groovy, and had just the right relaxed feel that immediately captivated the audience.
Many were dancing early on, while others simply let themselves drift along – a perfect opening that set the right atmosphere for the entire concert evening.

ABOUT UNCLE FRANK
Uncle Frank is a rock/pop/soul band. Founding multi-instrumentalist members are Leicester natives Frank Benbini & Naim Cortazzi joined by Junior Benbini , Luke Kool and Nile Barrow on the back of albums 'STEP INTO MY ROOM' (2014) 'LOVE LION' (2017), 3rd album 'SOUL ON THE BATTLEGROUND ' (2019), 4th album 'DIABLO' (2023) and the latest album 'SOUNDTRACK TO A MUSICAL' (2025).
The big screen movie entitled 'To Be Frank' about Frank's life in music filmed over the past 15 years drops on streaming sites soon, after its successful indie run in select UK Cinema release late 2025.
In 2026 Uncle Frank was chosen to support Reggae legends 'The Wailers' throughout their European tour, Frank and Naim have created Dub Reggae versions of their songs which delighted and transfixed audiences at sell out shows in Belgium, Holland and Germany.
